MAITRE AURIOL INDUCTED INTO THE USFA FENCING HALL OF FAME
Our Head Coach and Director of Fencing, Maitre Yves Auriol was inducted the Fencing Hall of Fame. This is a truly fitting tribute to a coach with so very many exceptional accomplishments! Maitre Auriol's induction ceremony took place in Miami at the 2007 Summer National Championships. He was joined by his wife Georgette, son and fencer Stephane, brother and fencing master, Maitre Leon Auriol and FAN fencers and families.

FAN TO HOST FOUR 2006-2007 "VEGAS CUP" YOUTH FENCING EVENTS
FAN will be hosting four of the five Vegas Cup youth fencing tournaments during the 2006-2007 Southern Nevada fencing season. The Vegas Cup events are designed to give our young fencers an opportunity to compete against their peers in a supportive tournament setting. We are happy to play such an important role in supporting youth fencing in Las Vegas. Good luck to all fencers competing in the Vegas Cup series this season!

The 2007 DAWSON CHALLENGE (USFA RYC)
Thank you to our community of fencers, referees, fencing families and the Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain for another successful Dawson Challenge. Since 2002 this tournament has supported the development of youth and junior fencers and this is the 3rd year as a USFA Regional Youth Circuit sanctioned tournament. We thank Evan Ranes, Kathleen Pathi, Tanya Brown, April Woodward (USFA bout committee), Susan Jennings, Nicolae Diaconescu, Molly Millman, Georgette Auriol, Sky McLain, Lynn and John Dilibero, Vicky, Marty and Thomas Schumacher, Lydia Zeller, Teresa Tizminesky, Dawn Starret, Supreya Voelkenig, Phil Reaston, Nathalie Keft, Feodur Keft and USFA rated referees, Bill Becker (USFA FOC, assigning referee), Ed Richards, Evan Ranes, Narayan Pathi, Robert Bellman, Mark Kovacs, Robby Carrillo, Elizabeth Earls and George Porter.
